Haematology and Blood transfusion science

Haematology is the study of the cause, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases related to blood. It involves the production of blood and its components, such as blood cells, haemoglobin, blood proteins and bone marrow.

The Bayero Journal of Medical Laboratory Science (BJMLS) was borne out of hope and desire to improve scholarly and academic pursuits, in line with the aspiration of the department of Medical Laboratory Science and Bayero University, Kano at large.
